Once all fees are paid, you are given a copy of the .wav files recorded, one file per track. As a single 30- to 45- minute set can run 5 Gb or more, copying to CD becomes costly due to the long transfer time. We highly recommend that you supply us with an external hard drive with a Firewire 400 interface. Alternatively, we can sell you an external Firewire drive with your tracks on it at an additional charge (see the fee schedule). If you need your tracks transferred to another medium, additional charges may apply.
recordmyshow will keep the original copy of the recordings for fifteen days from the date you receive your tracks. This will give you adequate time to make your own backup copies. If we do not hear from you within this time, we will then delete the original from our drives. We may or may not call you to confirm this deletion. We do not store or archive recordings long-term.
